Welding wire is a zinc and aluminum alloy recommended for joining aluminum, copper, and brass. Welding wire can be used with air and acetylene, propylene, or propane torches. Welding wire has a working temperature of 410℃ to 430℃. Welding wire has a wire tensile strength up to 35000 psi, shear strength up to 25000 psi, and elongation of approximately 2%.
Welding flux is a complex mixture of fluorides that provide stability during the soldering process. The flux residues are non-corrosive.
Product Use:
Thoroughly clean and remove any contaminates such as oxides, oil, dirt that may interfere with the performance of the flux or solder. Apply the flux to the area you wish to solder. Heat the fluxed area keeping the torch in motion until the flux becomes fluid and clear. The flux is now active. Introduce the welding wire to the area you wish to join allowing the solder to flow into the joint. Remove heat and let cool. |
